My Old Kentucky Home

Fall in Kentucky is a sight to be seen. Red River Gorge, the Pinnacles, and several other areas are breathtaking as the leaves turn. Hiking is a low impact way to still burn calories, all while getting to see all the area has to offer. The Gorge has trails that vary from 0.5 miles with beautiful views that are perfect for the little ones, to 10+ mile hikes that are quite advanced. The Pinnacles, while steep on the way up, are only about 1.5 miles to the top, and the views are fantastic. There’s also gorgeous trails throughout Bernheim Forest which again has a various amount of trails for those who like a challenge, or just want a short trip with their kids.

Next Saturday, instead of our normal gym session at 9:00 am, we will be meeting at Hall’s on the River to go for a group hike. Bring some trail shoes or boots, some water, and some sun screen, and we’ll make sure you have a good time. We will be taking off at 9:00, so be sure to get there a few minutes ahead of time. We can’t wait to see everyone out.
