We get asked why is our gym so expensive? Our gym membership is $125 per month. Our average member attends 16 sessions per month or 4 sessions a week. That’s $8 per class. Let’s say go ahead play devils advocate and say we only see you 12 sessions per month. That puts each class at $10 dollars per class.
Well what do you get ? Each class is comprised of a well thought out dynamic warm- up centered around developing new skills, addressing weaknesses and priming the central nervous system for training. From there we will go into strength training portion of class, where we may squat, deadlift, press, power clean, or power snatch under the watchful eye of one our staff. Our number one priority is keeping people safe and progressing your movement appropriately. Our conditioning is mostly compromised of Kettlebells, bodyweight movements, medicine balls and sandbags. We finish each session with some kind of accessory movement to help build up weaknesses. ( ex…abs, hamstrings, shoulders)
Our programming is not some random thrown together exercises each morning. Each session is part of a 4 week training wave that’s part of a bigger quarterly and yearly training cycle. This could be way more than you want to know but it just goes to show the amount of time and energy put into a well thought out developed training program.
Also included in our monthly fee is our electronic tracking system used to monitor each training session. We can keep track of benchmarks, weights, improvements or any other pertinent information to our training. Assistance with diet and nutrition for those who want it. Our gym quarterly selects different events to train for. We have 12 week endurance race and strength focused programs for people with more specific goals than general improvement in their health and wellness. Environment something we place high on our list. We have an atmosphere unlike any other. No judgement, hard work earns respect, nothing is given and everything is earned.
In fitness consistency is key. We need to see you. Training is a two way street it requires you to be dedicated to the process too. Our price ensures for the most part if you are paying for our services we will see you. Results require sacrifice and no magic pill or shake is going to give you the long term lasting lifestyle changes necessary for health.
We are not here to tell people how to spend their money. Fitness classes around Central Kentucky range from $5-$20 per class not including personal training which about $30-$45 per session. Those $200 per month cable packages full of channels you never watch. The $5-$6 you spend a day you spend on coffees, Red Bull’s or diet cokes. Or that lunch you eat out everyday. Oh what about those drinks on Friday nights? Let’s not forget mention co-pays, and medications associated with poor lifestyle choices. I think for a lot of people it’s not that we’re too expensive it just your health is just not that big of priority in your current budget.
