“A good father is one of the most unsung, unpraised, unnoticed, and yet one of the most valuable assets in our society.”
Father’s wear many hats throughout their life. But the one they feel the strongest about it usually the role of protector. To all our fathers at CFSS, we just want to spend a few moments thanking you for all you do.
Many of you work long days, some outside in the elements, some dealing with high stress situations, and still come home and turn into a puddle of mush when your toddler comes charging with their chubby legs yelling “dada!”. You find the time to wrestle with your children, make them giggle, and teach them little life lessons even when you aren’t trying.
Your sons want to be you when they get older. Your daughters will always think of you as their first love. Dads hold a very large part in their children’s hearts. We know it isn’t always easy. There are days that can be hectic, babies get sick, teenagers can have attitudes; but just know, they will always remember the fond memories first. They’ll remember you chasing them up and down the hallways, crawling into their bed and making them feel safe when there is thunder outside, showing them how to drive, and all that will be a source of a smile as they get older.
To our strong dads, we know we give you a facility to get stronger physically, but mentally, you were already the strongest person your babies know.
